Zenless Zone Zero Notorious Hunt guide – how to unlock and weekly bosses

If you’ve been looking for a challenge in Zenless Zone Zero, the Notorious Hunt is the perfect place to hone your skills. This mode allows you to go against advanced enemies with a lineup that changes every week. Here’s everything you need to know about ZZZ’s Notorious Hunt, including how to unlock it and the current challenges.

What are Notorious Hunts in ZZZ?

Notorious Hunt mode features weekly boss challenges to earn exclusive rewards. Those who complete these tasks can earn the following materials:

• Precious relics
• Plating Agents
• Master Copies
• W-Engine Chips
• Investigation Merits

Most resources found here can be used to improve your Agent’s build further. You can also exchange your Investigation Merits with Casper via the Association Supplies section for more valuables. He’ll be stationed near the main tent at Scott Outpost.

Rewards can only be earned from the first three challenges of each week. However, no gifts will be provided to you after the fourth round. That means players must wait until the next week in order for it to refresh.

All Notorious Hunt weekly bosses in ZZZ

For a sneak peek of ZZZ’s weekly bosses, here’s what you can expect:

• Newborn Dead End Butcher
  • Weakness: Ice and Ether
• Unknown Corruption Complex
  • Weakness: Electric and Ether
• Twin Marionettes (unlocks in Chapter 3)

The Newborn Dead End Butler and Unknown Corruption Complex are the first string enemies for ZZZ’s Notorious Hunt. Ether wielders like Nicole are the best for these fights to help with the boss’ weaknesses. I’m still working on unlocking the third boss, so I’ll update this guide once it unlocks.

Keep in mind that the weekly bosses will, of course, change after the next season drops.

How to unlock Notorious Hunt in ZZZ

To unlock Notorious Hunt, you must reach Chapter 2 Intermission in the story. This should be around the same time as the Drive Discs unlock, involving Elfy’s Music Store. Eventually, you’ll speak to Ophelia at the Scott Outpost, permitting you to join the Notorious Hunt.

Complete the three challenges to earn all the rewards for this week’s hunt. You can check it later on to see what new bosses are on the horizon. Plus, Challenge Rewards are available for those who achieve a certain amount of Notorious Hunts.
