Zelda Echoes of Wisdom: All side quests and rewards

Rewards to seek out

Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is a very expansive game, with a huge map filled with secrets to find. Included in those secrets is a long list of 50 side quests that can be picked up when you bump into the relevant NPC.

These side quests range from simple tasks, to long-winded and complicated quests which will take you some time to complete. You’ll find them in a variety of locations spread across the map, so finding them all will likely take you some time.

Side quests are marked by small red exclamation marks on a relevant NPCs dialogue, so keep an eye out for those and pick them up when you find them. Some side quests will require you to go into dungeons and defeat a final boss. These quests will provide you with Heart Pieces, and are absolutely worth seeking out, even if it means going out of your way by quite some distance.

When you’ve picked up any side quests, you can check them by pressing the Minus button, and then opening the Adventure Log by pressing R. Then, switch over to the Side Quest tab using the left Joy-Con. All of your side quests are listed here, and you can select which one to show on your map.

Rather than throw a long list of quests at you, I’m going to break this up based on the types of rewards on offer.

Side quests that reward Automatons and Monster Stones

Automatons work in a similar way to Echoes, except their much more powerful and less likely to be killed by the enemy they’re trying to fight. Therefore, working towards unlocking all five of the available Automatons in EoW is definitely worthwhile. You’ll also need Monster Stones to repair your Automatons if they get damaged:
