Yu-Gi-Oh! 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II release date, where to buy, and card details

The sequel to one of the best sets ever.

In 2023, Konami released one of the best Yu-Gi-Oh! sets for picking up rare cards, the Yu-Gi-Oh! 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection set. Now, it’s following it up with a sequel.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II set is the follow-up to an incredibly popular set that was designed to give players amazing and rare cards, as well as a specialized rarity created for the game’s 25th anniversary. This second set not only gives players another chance to get in on additional rare cards for their collection, but it also brings cards that weren’t part of the original set, adding value and a reason to buy it even if you went overboard on the last one.

When is the release date for the Yu-Gi-Oh! 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II set?

The Yu-Gi-Oh! 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II will be released on May 24, 2024. This set debuts after the upcoming Legacy of Destruction set. Since it’s more about getting rare cards than picking up powerful ones to use in your decks, it deserves its own space within the year’s releases.

Every booster pack of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II set contains 9 cards, including 3 Super Rares and 4 Ultra Rares. However, every card has a one-in-six chance of being upgraded to a “Prismatic” Collector’s Rare or “Prismatic” Ultimate Rare.

The remaining 2 cards in the booster packs are Secret Rares with a one-in-four chance of being upgraded to a Platinum Secret Rare or Quarter Century Secret Rare. The rarest cards you might pick up from this set are “Prismatic” Ultimate Rares, though this is skewed slightly because I believe this is only the second set you can actually get Quarter Century Rares in. This may also change over time, depending on how the market for these cards shifts.

Where to buy the Yu-Gi-Oh! 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II set

There are a few retailers you can use to purchase the Yu-Gi-Oh! 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II set, but they’ll differ based on where you live. Your first port of call should always be your local game store, where you buy all of your TCG boosters. Supporting local businesses is important, and this is a great set to do that with.

If you don’t have a local game store, you’ll need to pick the set up online. I’ve listed the best places to purchase the set online for the UK and US below. Of course, if you know of a more reliable or cheaper retailer that you use regularly, you should feel free to use them.

  • Amazon (US & UK): At the time of writing, Amazon only offers a twin booster pack product, but this could change closer to the set’s release.
  • Magic Madhouse (anywhere in the world): Magic Madhouse is a retailer I’ve used for TCGs before, and they’re incredibly reliable. They also seem to get products a day or so ahead of release, meaning you might get this rare set before all of your friends. They offer boosters, individual cards, and even cases booster boxes if you have the cash.
  • Unicorn Cards (US & UK): Unicorn Cards offers all the Yu-Gi-Oh! products you need, but not cases of Booster Boxes. Their pricing is in line with Magic Madhouse, so you won’t be paying above the average.
  • Axion Now (UK): Axion Now is a UK-based game store that has a big online following because of how reliable it is and the many events its staff runs. As with a few of these retailers, I’ve had positive experiences with this one, and they always deliver as fast as possible. The thing to look out for with Axion Now is additional products combined, such as a Booster Box with extra Boosters or specific cards.
  • Chaos Cards (US & UK): Chaos Cards is another retailer I’ve used before and found to be reliable. They often undercut the competition and have incredible sale items, so if you’re looking for this set after release, this is probably where to get it.
