Due Process is a five-on-five tactical shooter that lets you pore over the map, converse with your team, and draw up a literal plan John Madden-style before heading into your match. We covered the game several years ago but now it’s back looking better than ever under publisher Annapurna Interactive.

The art has undergone a big makeover, with creator Giant Enemy Crab citing Time Crisis as inspiration.

One team is on offense, the other on defense, and maps are procedurally generated to make Due Process “more about outsmarting your opponent than memorizing a map.”

It’s coming soon to PC and while I think I’ll be absolutely terrible at it, the concept is neat.
