Yakuza: Kiwami, a remake for the original game, is shaping up to be a pretty awesome re-release. There are a ton of new features packed in, one of which is the ability to fight Majima Goro, a Starscream-esque friend of the main character, anywhere you want.

In essence, the story reason for this is because Kiryu, only recently released from 10 years in prison, needs to constantly practice — so Majima is always at the ready, even if it means coming through a sewer grate at a moment’s notice. If this ever gets localized, I’m in.

Speaking of Yakuza, the fifth game still doesn’t have a solid date — it’s supposed to be released in the west digitally just next month.
