XDefiant: Best Vector loadout

Spray and pray!

You may be able to get away with a default loadout in XDefiant, but it’s the custom loadouts that can make your weapons truly shine. Each attachment may not seem like it does much on the surface, but when paired with the four other attachments you have, it can make a massive difference. One such weapon is an SMG staple, but using it effectively can take some work. Here’s the best Vector loadout in XDefiant.

The best attachments and gear for the Vector in XDefiant

The Vector .45 ACP SMG is a classic, offering an immense rate of fire and damage at the cost of handling. This makes it a close-range powerhouse among of a group of weapons somewhat known for their close-range strengths. Handling and ammo count are worth keeping an eye on, however, as both can prove troublesome beyond a single target. With all this in mind, the build we’re going for helps you get in and out of fights quickly while picking off key targets. To start, here are the attachments you should select:

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Booster
  • Front Rail: Superlight
  • Optics: Reflex
  • Rear Grip: Fabric
  • Stock: Removed

This build sacrifices some Recoil Recovery and Recoil Control in exchange for improving its rate of fire and ADS Speed, improving those key close-range fights. If you’re fine with iron sights, you’re safe to swap that Reflex sight for a Quick Mag in the Magazine section, giving you more bullets and faster reloads.

For Secondary Weapon, we’re going with the 686 Magnum since it provides a formidable mid-long range option, making up for the Vector’s faults. Slap a Compensator, Red Dot, and Grip Tape to help reinforce its strengths. For Device, you should go with the Flashbang Grenade to help you clear a room that little bit easier.

Which faction pairs best with the Vector?

By far, the Libertad faction with the BioVida Boost will help the most. BioVida Boost is an incredible ability on its own, providing an immediate health boost so you can take another fight. If that isn’t your style, a good alternative is the Echelon faction with either the Digital Ghillie Suit or Intel Suit based on personal preference.
