What better way to round out the year than by posting a few stills from the upcoming Ace Attorney movie directed by Takashi Miike? I think we’ve all heard about this project by now; no need to repeat the details all over again. Let’s just enjoy the latest batch of goodies!
Japanese film site Eiga.com shared some exclusive screens of the actors at work. The costumes and castings are simply amazing. There’s Phoenix, of course, but there’s also Manfred von Karma, the Fey sisters, and even the affable Larry Butz (when something smells, it’s always the Butz). The one character I’m not sold on is Dick Gumshoe, who doesn’t look quite as doofusy or as built like a brick house as his in-game counterpart. Everything else is great, though.
Can’t wait for this! C’mon, DVD localization!
