Who’s that fake Pokemon?

I like the fact that fake Pokemon exist. There is something inherently funny about multiple people in the world spending time, energy, and sometimes money to fulfill their dreams of temporarily tricking the citizens of the internet in to believing that their “awesome idea for a Sudowoodo evolution” is the real deal. It’s like telling a woman that you have a 12 inch penis in order to convince her that you are totally wonderful at the act of love making, only to eventually drop your drawers to show her that your penis is actually quite small.

Though in the end, you’ll be laughed at and scorned, for a brief time, you were living the lie dream. Not that I’d know anything about that personally.

Speaking of what I know, how do I know that these Pokemon are fake? Well, I’m not positive, but the art here is questionable enough to have be 99% sure that it’s fan-made. Where is the credible source? How was this art stolen from the airtight offices of Nintendo Japan? Why are the Pokemon’s names already translated into English with an in-game font? Where are the previously announced new starter Pokemon? Why so many of the new Pokemon look exactly like older Pokemon like Charmander and Turtwig? Why are their four different dolphin-looking Pokemon?

Yeah, this stuff looks fake alright, and I think I know who did the faking. You can check out the rest of the unsubstantiated Pokemon in the gallery.

Thank for the tip, Christopher!
