Early in the Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail Main Story Quest, you’ll find yourself heading to the beautiful zone of Urqopacha. Wuk Lamat is in search of someone named Tobli and wants you to do some deductive reasoning to figure out which person at the nearby ranch is, in fact, Tobli. You’re presented with the possible options, but here is who you want to choose when asked which ranch hand is Tobli in the Trades of Happiness quest in FFXIV Dawntrail.
Trades of Happiness quest guide – Which ranch hand is Tobli?
Tobli is the diligent ranch hand that you want to choose for the Trades of Happiness quest. After heading to Urqopacha, Wuk Lamat will have you speak with various characters at the ranch to determine which one of them is Tobli. Mablu gives you a pretty big hint: Tobli often mentions his favorite pungent subject. After speaking with everyone, you must return to Wuk Lamat and talk to her to proceed. She then tasks you with choosing which of the three ranch hands you think are Tobli:

- The diligent ranch hand.
- The boastful ranch hand.
- The nonchalant ranch hand.
Even though Wuk Lamat tells you that she can’t afford to pay everyone you may think is Tobli, there is no actual penalty for getting the choice wrong. Wuk Lamat will mention she just wasted money giving it to the wrong person, but you still get the option to choose again until you get it right.
Either way, the correct answer is The diligent ranch hand! After choosing the correct answer, Tobli will admit that he is Tobli, and you will complete the Traders of Happiness quest, earning 994,560 Experience, 1,217 Gil, and unlocking the next quest in the MSQ, which is The Feat of Gold.
