In Super Mario Bros. Wonder, you’ll find a total of 24 different Badges to equip. Each of these adds a new perk to Mario’s moveset, ranging from active abilities to passive effects. Even if you don’t use all the Badges, collecting them all is required to obtain one of the Medals on your save file. So for those looking to obtain 100% completion, you’ll need to obtain every badge.
Fortunately, unlocking all the badges in Super Mario Bros. Wonder is mostly straightforward. As long as you chase down secret levels and go into every Poplin Shop, you’ll naturally find all of them. There’s one Badge in particular here that you won’t find for a while, but we’ll get to that later.

For those looking to complete their collection, or those who just want to get a certain badge ASAP, here is how to unlock every Badge in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
Action Badges
Action Badges add extra active abilities that Mario and his friends can use. Typically, you’ll unlock these by completing Badge Challenge stages for each respective Badge. Even if you do the second challenge first for some reason, you’ll still unlock the Badge. However, some Action Badges will unlock through other means.
Here’s how to unlock all the Action Badges in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Expert Badges
Expert Badges technically make the game harder, so probably not the type of fodder you’ll want to go out of your way to find. That said, these unlock through hidden Badge Challenge stages, with the final one being a secret you won’t find until you are at or near 100% completion.
Here’s how to unlock all the Expert Badges in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
1: Jet Run
You can find a Badge Challenge stage in World 1. It’s on a secret path stemming from the “Bulrush Express” stage. You can also find a Badge Challenge stage in World 6 after collecting 25 Wonder Seeds.
2: Spring Feet
You can find a Badge Challenge stage in World 2 after beating the “Jump! Jump! Jump!” course. You can also find a Badge Challenge stage in World 6 after collecting 25 Wonder Seeds.
3: Invisibility
You can find a Badge Challenge stage in World 4. It’s on a secret path stemming from the “Secrets of Shova Mansion” course. Like the above, you can also find a Badge Challenge stage in World 6 after collecting 25 Wonder Seeds.
4: Sound Off?
To slightly obscure spoilers, you can obtain this one by completing every level in the Secret World. This is harder than it looks, and this Badge doesn’t really help you in any way, so take your time trying to get this one. By the time you obtain the Sound Off? Badge, you’ll have truly proven yourself as a master of Super Mario Bros. Wonder!
