They sell the good stuff.

There are a lot of ships and modules in Starfield, and some of them are harder to find than others. Taiyo’s main offices are somewhat hidden in one of the busiest places in the game, so tracking it down can be tough.

Where to find Taiyo Astroneering in Starfield

To find Taiyo Shipyard, you will need to go to the Ryujin officers at Neon on Volii Alpha in the Volii system. This is just a couple of jumps away from Alpha Centauri, your starting system, so you can get here quite early in the game.

When you spawn into Neon proper, after heading down the elevator for the first time or spawning at Neon Core if you have been here before, turn to the red side of the promenade. This is Ryujin Industries’ side of the promenade. Walk all the way to the end, and you will find yourself at the main Ryujin Industries offices.

Head inside and walk all the way to the back of the room, where you will find an elevator. Get in and interact with the button, then select Taiyo Astroneering from the list of floors you can visit. When the door opens, head into the Taiyo offices, then head around to the right. Walk down onto the showroom floor, and you will find Veronica Young, the main salesperson. She acts as the Ship Technician here, allowing you to sell and modify your ships.

What can you buy at Taiyo?

The Taiyo shipyard is highly sought after because here, you can buy The Narwhal, a ship that many folks are currently ranking as the best in the game. They also sell the Hammerhead, Falcon II, Sparrow II, Orca, and Mako. It should be noted that Taiyo ships are expensive, with the Narwhal clocking in at well north of 400,000 Credits. Make sure you have your Commerce skill maxed out before you buy here.

You can also buy ship parts here that will not be available anywhere else, so make sure you return to upgrade your Taiyo ships with the best parts. If you cannot quite afford Taiyo prices yet, you can also make your way to Akila City on Cheyenne and join the Freestar Collective. Completing all their faction missions will net you the Star Eagle ship for free.
