Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone’s DMZ mode features a few different maps to explore and plenty of missions to take on. One of the most rewarding tasks you can do in a DMZ match is find the Chemical Storage Warehouse key and open up one of the best sets of loot in the game.
Chemical Storage Warehouse key location in DMZ
To start off with, you need to start by locating the Chemical Storage Warehouse key in DMZ. The only way to do this is to head to Al Mazrah map, as it is only available here; don’t waste your time on Vondel or Ashika Island.
Unfortunately, the problem is there’s no guaranteed or set location to find the Chemical Storage Warehouse key. You can only find it through opening up chests, completing various DMZ missions, and sometimes as drops from fallen NPC enemies.
The problem with all of these methods is that none of them are 100% guaranteed. You randomly have a chance of finding the key whenever you do one of these methods. So, it is very well possible that you could open up a dozen chests or take out 20 enemies before you ever touch a Chemical Storage Warehouse key.
That said, there is a possible way to up your chances some. For some odd reason, finding a different key can often lead to finding a second one. For instance, if you find the Police Station Armory key and open up the Police Station building, there is an approximately 75% chance of finding another key inside the building somewhere.
This becomes a more reliable way of possibly finding the Chemical Storage Warehouse key, but it, too, relies on some luck.
What to do with the Chemical Storage Warehouse key
Once you finally have the Chemical Storage Warehouse key, it is time to use it in DMZ. You’ll have to visit the warehouse itself, which you can find just south of Al-Safwa Quarry point of interest on the Al Mazrah map.
Head to the somewhat large building you can see on the map just south of the quarry. It is right alongside the main road that passes through here and is a bit hard to miss. This is near the edge of the map, so, fortunately, there shouldn’t be too many players here.
With the key, you can open up the warehouse and locate its goodies. Your rewards are random each time you open it up, but you generally can get tons of weapons, ammo, money, and even one of the 3-plate armor vests. This is why it is worth visiting here as soon as you can in a DMZ match to gear up.
