The Teal Mask for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has introduced Kitakami, a new area to explore. This also means there are new Pokémon to find, new items you will need, and exciting new evolutions to discover. It is for this reason that you may find yourself in need of a Syrupy Apple.
Where to get the Syrupy Apple in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To get the Syrupy Apple, you need to visit a place called the Syrupy Shack (okay, it’s not called anything, we are just calling it that) in the new Kitakami area introduced in The Teal Mask DLC. To do so, you first need to start the new DLC, and then get to Mossui Town.
Make your way along the river that runs to the southeast of Mossui Town, and you will reach the southeast border of the new area. In the southeast corner, you will find Mossfell Confluence on the far side of the river. Here, you can buy the Syrupy Apple for $500.
What is the Syrupy Apple used for?
The Syrupy Apple is used to evolve Applin into Dipplin. You can find an Applin in the nearby Apple Hills to the southwest of Mossui Town if you need one. Just open your Inventory after you get the Syrupy Apple, then hit “Use” and select Applin in your party. After that, the job is done, and it will evolve into Dipplin.
Applin has three evolutions in total, and you will need the following items for them:
- Dipplin – the Syrupy Apple from the shack
- Appletun – Sweet Apple found in Apple Hills
- Flapple – Tart Apple found in Apple Hills
