Where to find Razorshrooms in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Be careful chomping down on these shrooms

With a name like Razorshrooms, you might expect these to be some rough and tough ingredients. Truthfully, you wouldn’t be wrong. Razorshrooms are some of the most valuable mushrooms you can find in Tears of the Kingdom.

When used properly, Link can harness the strength and volatile nature of these razor-sharp mushrooms to enhance his attack power. That is, of course, if you are able to locate some Razorshrooms in the first place.

Where to find Razorshrooms in Tears of the Kingdom

With the massive amount of ingredients in Tears of the Kingdom, it can be tough to find Razorshrooms. In fact, with the changes to Hyrule in this game, the same Breath of the Wild farming spots don’t work anymore.

There are only a couple of places to reliably find lots of Razorshrooms in Tears of the Kingdom. One of my favorite spots is the Thyplo Ruins. This is the massive ruins island that is to the north of the Lost Wood. You’ll fittingly find the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower here.

On this island, you can generally find Razorshrooms near the rocks and trees that are around here. When in doubt, use the Sensor+ if you have it. You may see a handful of mushrooms in the ruins, so it is worth checking out.

However, if you are lazy like me and have some Rupees to burn in your pocket, I suggest heading to the Gerudo Town mushroom food stall after completing the dungeon here to buy Razorshrooms for 20 Rupees each.

Alternatively, you can go to the Korok Forest store. To do this, you’ll have to save the Great Deku Tree in the Lost Woods from the gloom, which is its own side adventure. Afterwards, you can come back here afterward and pick up sets of four Razorshrooms for a total of 80 Rupees.

What to do with Razorshrooms

Once you have some Razorshrooms in your possession, there are quite a few recipes you can make. The one I recommend is the Mushroom Skewer, which takes only one mushroom at a cooking pot. I suggest using five Razorshrooms all at once to make this powerful Mighty Mushroom Skewer.

It will not only replenish several of your hearts, but it will raise your attack for just over four minutes after consuming it. This offers a great way to buff your strength against a tough enemy, so don’t be afraid to use it!
