Where to find Pale Vineshrooms in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

They had better taste a lot better than they look.

If youā€™re looking to collect the rarest materials in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the Pale Vineshroom is probably the last one you need. Luckily, there are no special conditions to make them spawn; you just need to know where they are.

On the Threaded River near Dyerā€™s Falls

There are exactly three Pale Vineshrooms in the world, and they are located under a large vine spanning the Threaded River near Dyerā€™s Falls in the Kinglor Forest region. Youā€™ll need to ride your Ikran to get to them, since you canā€™t quite reach under the vine to gather them on foot.

The best quality Pale Vineshrooms are harvested during a thunderstorm. To trigger a thunderstorm, go to the nearest Naā€™vi camp (Stone Refuge) and pass time by the fire. Keep passing time until you get a thunderstorm.

If you donā€™t want to bother with the weather but still want high-quality materials, you can cook and eat a Relunā€™s Fish Stew (Mudcrawler Fish + Crimson Mushroom) or Novaoā€™s Mushroom Pie (Cloud Spitter Seed + Vineshroom). These recipes require Superior quality ingredients.

How to gather Vineshrooms

If youā€™ve never collected Vineshrooms before, they work a little differently from other plant gatherables. Thereā€™s no gathering minigame, you just have to hover close enough on your Ikran. The range is a little finicky, but keep adjusting your position until your character reaches up and grabs it.

If it doesnā€™t appear to be working for you, check to make sure that you donā€™t have a weapon in-hand and that your ingredients inventory isnā€™t full.
