To obtain Iron Ore in Fields of Mistria, you’ll need to venture to Level 21 and beyond in the Mines. A barrier will block your path to this level, which you can overcome by unlocking the Water Seal with a few specific ingredients. Collecting a Ruby, Lantern Moth, Stone Loach, and Upper Mines Mushroom will grant you access to the area.

Before you go off into the Mines, ensure to bring a lot of stamina resources to reach the higher levels. The Full Restore spell can be excellent for this, as well as the Stamina Syrup from Valen’s Clinic. You may want to pick up some healing remedies, too, just in case an enemy comes knocking at your door.

Once you’ve unlocked the Mines Level 21 in Fields of Mistria, use a Copper Pickaxe to mine the Iron Ores. Treasure chests and digging spots also provide more of this resource, spawning a whole bundle.

If you have some money to spare, you can purchase Iron Ore and other materials at the Blacksmith’s Shop. Balor’s Wagon occasionally has Iron Ingots, but they cost 300 Tesserae. With enough resources, you can upgrade your tools and expand their charging range. Additionally, Iron Ingots can be used during the Repair the General Store quest, which will be unlocked during the game’s later stages.
