Chronicling in-game memories through your journey as Final Fantasy XIV’s Warrior of Light is arguably the most important part of the experience. After all, what good does fighting Ifrit in a bikini with a matching frog head do if you can’t share it online?
Kidding ā but so you’ll know how to access in-game photos, I’ll explain where to find the default FFXIV screenshot folder on PC, Steam, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
Where is the PC FFXIV screenshot folder?
The FFXIV PC screenshot folder on PC is under the “My Games” directory by default. This should be true for both PC versions of the game, either Steam or the standalone client from Square Enix. To find your images, simply select:
- My Documents
- My Games
- Final Fantasy XIV – A Realm Reborn
- Screenshots
Alternatively, you can try using this directory in your Windows File Explorer:
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV – A Realm Reborn\screenshots
FFXIV screenshot location on PS5 and PS4
Perhaps you’ve never been quite so infatuated with taking screenshots as you have now that you’re a FFXIV Gpose pro. On PS4, all screenshots are stored in the Capture Gallery, accessible from the main screen. On PS5, find FFXIV screenshots by scrolling to the Media Gallery from the dashboard.
Change the FFXIV screenshot folder
FFXIV screenshots don’t have to go to Square Enix’s default location. To change where your screenshots save, select the follow:
- System Configuration
- Other Settings
- Screenshot Folder
Type in any folder directory you like, screenshots should save there during your next Gpose session.
