When is XDefiant Season 1? Release date and time countdown

XDefiant's first seasonal patch is on the horizon already.

XDefiant‘s launch has gone remarkably well considering the delays it faced, and now the countdown to Season 1 is on. Here’s when you can get your hands on it.

Ubisoft has packaged 14 maps, 24 weapons, and five modes into XDefiant at launch, but as the weeks go by, we’ll all get used to what we’ve got so far, and be looking for new additions.

Thanks to the Year 1 Roadmap, we already know what will be included in the game’s first season, and Ubisoft have now confirmed when the update will drop.

XDefiant Season 1 release date

Ubisoft has announced that XDefiant Season 1 will launch on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

This matches up with the end of the Season 0 Battle Pass, which comes to a close on July 1.

XDefiant Season 1 start time: Countdown

While Ubisoft hasn’t given a precise release time for Season 1’s start, we can use previous patch releases to get a good idea of when that will be. The June 12 Y1S0.3 patch went live at 2 pm BST / 9 am ET / 6 am PT, so we expect a similar release time for Season 1, which is what we’ve set the countdown below to. We’ll be sure to update this article should Ubisoft drop more information.

What will XDefiant Season 1 include?

XDefiant Season 1 will include:

  • Faction: GSK
  • Three new weapons
  • Three new maps: Clubhouse, Daytona, Rockefeller
  • Mode: Capture the Flag
  • A new Battle Pass featuring 90 tiers
