MW3 and Warzone Season 3 delivered on all fronts. In multiplayer, the devs plan to introduce six 6v6 maps throughout the season, with various sizes and locations. Additionally, four new weapons enter the fray, including the MORS and BAL-27, first introduced in 2014 for CoD: Advanced Warfare. As for Warzone, battle royale fans finally get a chance to jump back into Rebirth Island, and the devs made sweeping weapon and equipment balancing changes. Even with so much to enjoy currently, there is no harm in looking at what’s coming in the pipeline.

The Season 3 Battle Pass ends onĀ May 28 at 9 a.m. PST, so we expect Season 4 to start on May 29 at 9 a.m. PST. It’s still too early to tell what Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software have up their sleeves for the upcoming season, but leaks point toward an exciting slate of content.

ReliableĀ CoDĀ leakerĀ BobNetworkUK claimed the SPAS-12 and Kar98k appeared inĀ MW3ā€˜s game filesĀ in a post on Twitter. Weapon names appearing in the game files donā€™t guarantee they will be added to the title, as plans could always change. But Bob has a proven track record of these data mines being accurate. Additionally, Insider Gaming reported that Verdansk will return to Warzone with the release of Treyarch’s mainline release, tentatively dubbed Black Ops Gulf War in 2024.

But there are community members that are still holding out hope that the beloved map will return in Season 4 instead. As for multiplayer, MW3 players should also expect another healthy dose of content. In Season 3, the devs introduced six new maps, the most we have seen in several seasons.
