It feels like we have a new Diablo season to enjoy each month, now that there are three active titles getting new seasons. Diablo 3 Season 29 just started on September 15, and Diablo 4 Season 2 releases on October 17. Then we have Diablo 2: Resurrected Season 5 on the horizon. The new season will reset the ladder for all modes, including pre-expansion and hardcore. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear there will be any new content added to D2R with this new season. However, the fresh grind of a new season is still appealing to many, especially with how good it feels to do in D2R. For those wondering when does Diablo 2: Resurrected Season 5 start, don’t worry. We have full timetables for all regions below.
Diablo 2: Resurrected (D2R) Season 5 start times
Season 5 for Diablo 2: Resurrected (D2R) officially launches on September 28. The ladder will reset and start anew at the same time worldwide. Season 5 will launch at 5 p.m. ET. Here are some other times for various timezones:
- Los Angeles: September 28 at 2 p.m. PDT
- New York: September 28 at 5 p.m. ET
- Europe: September 28 at 11 p.m. CEST
- Asia: September 29 at 6 a.m. KST
Seasons in Diablo 2: Resurrected typically last between 3-5 months. Season 1 was five months in total, while Season 3 only lasted three months. With no new content being added with this season, it’s likely this will be a shorter one to make room for new content with Season 6.
What new content is in D2R Season 5?
Unfortunately, Blizzard doesn’t appear to be adding any new content to Season 5 of Diablo 2: Resurrected. This may be due to the final season of new content for Diablo 3 just launching, mixed with Diablo 4 Season 2 being just around the corner.
Even though there is no new content, Season 2 will be getting a full ladder reset for all modes.
