What’s the Combination Lock Code for Sweeping Away Secrets in Zenless Zone Zero?

In Zenless Zone Zero, you are tasked with destroying a set of computer databases in the quest Sweeping Away Secrets. But first, you must unlock a combination lock to get access to them. To actually destroy the databases, though, there’s a bit more you have to do than just putting in the code.

What is the code for the Sweeping Away Secrets Lock in Zenless Zone Zero?

The code you need to use for the locked door in Sweeping Away Secrets is 045. Interact with the locked door and choose the Enter the passcode option, then do just that. Doing so will open the lock and allow you to get access to your main objective, the computer databases. However, just opening the door to them is not enough to complete the mission. You need to destroy them with explosives; explosives you won’t have access to if you open the lock without any additional exploration.

Normally, to find the lock code, you’d have to search for clues around the level and piece together the password I just gave you. In doing so, you’d come across the explosives you need to destroy the objective naturally. However, if you just put the code in, you won’t be able to finish the quest. So, here’s where you can find the explosives, for your reference.

Where to find explosives for Sweeping Away Secrets in Zenless Zone Zero

To finish Sweeping Away Secrets, you need to find explosives you can use within the level itself. Conveniently, there just so happens to be some waiting for you to pick them up. In the top-right corner of the level, you’ll find a Hollow Raider barricaded via a second locked door.

This Hollow Raider has the explosives you need, but to unlock this specific door, you need to spend 2500 coins first. Search the open parts of the map in Sweeping Away Secrets, as you’ll find all the coins you need just lying around. You’ll face a few encounters on the way, but nothing you can’t handle, I’m certain. Once you have the 2500 coins, return to the locked door and open it with them. You’ll quickly be greeted by the Hollow Raider. After exhausting all of his dialogue, he will give you a Bangboo Plug-in, an infinite-use explosive, and the one you need.

Once you have the Bangboo Plug-in, return to the combination lock door at the beginning of the level and open it using the 045 code if you haven’t already. With access to the databases, place Bangboo Plug-in bombs in between any two databases, and move around a bit so they explode. Be careful as the bombs can harm you too. If you’re familiar with Bomberman, these bombs explode similarly. Repeat this process until all of the databases have been destroyed, then return to the beginning of the level to conclude the mission.
