Saturday! Finally! This has been quite a week. In the world, in the industry, and perhaps in your own personal lives. But we all made it through, and now ’tis the weekend. For some of us, it’s a time to rest and recharge, for others, merely the continuation of the working week. But regardless of which of these categories you fall into, I hope that it is a good one for you. Find the small victories wherever they like — be it in good conversation with friends, delicious food and drink, a few extra hours in the sack, or time spent playing some of the excellent titles that have hit the market recently. We’re halfway through the year and we’ve worked hard to get to this point, so grab your rewards today. I’m real proud of all y’all.

It’s been a busy and muddled week for yer boy, I’m not quite in the green just yet. In regards to gaming, it’s mostly been me winding up the aftermath of Acid Nerve’s excellent Death’s Door, (thanks for all of your kind words, by the way), continuing with my adventures in time in Modus Games’ Cris Tales, and taking time out to throw down in both Street Fighter V and Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown. This has not been a particularly rad week for me, but we can’t hit home runs every single time. Hopefully, this weekend will be the beginning of better times, for me, you, all of us, yeah? That’s the spirit, friends.
