What to do after beating Guangzhi in Black Myth: Wukong

You only really have one place you can go after beating Guangzhi, at least for now, but I’ll fill you in on some secret information about this area that will make you come back later. First, after beating the beast and taking his ability, you will want to ring the bell. This will start you on your way to a secret area, and there are three of them in total to find.

Once that is done, leave the arena and turn to the right, follow the path all the way in to the back of the area. Here, you will find a waterfall, and while you cannot do anything here now, remember this location. You should read up on how to find the Loong Scales, which you can do in the next area, and then come back here. If you have the Scales, you can interrupt the waterfall, revealing a secret boss fight against the mighty Red Loong.

Before that, make your way back toward the Outside of the Forest Shrine. Follow the main path along until you ridge a lone enemy near a low bridge. Take them out and cross the bridge, and you will notice a large blue enemy wandering around. This is the Wandering Wight.

You can choose to fight him or sneak around him toward the tunnel at the back. If you fight him, he will drop an item that you will not be able to pick up yet. You need to meet an NPC near a place called the Snake Trail further into the game. With that in mind, you can, if you wish, ignore the Wight for now and come back for him later.

Either way, head for the far end of the area and an old wooden platform that leads all around the mountain. Take out the enemies there, and then you will come to Guanyin Temple and your next fight. It’s time to take on Lingxuzi, the wolf demon. This is actually not that bad of a fight, especially if you already have Guangzhi’s ability and can use it to morph into him, bringing fire damage and a whole new health bar to the fight.

And that it’s take him out, and then continue on your way.
