What platforms and devices can you play LEGO Fortnite on?

In a wild turn of events, we might have finally have an answer we can work with.

At Fortnite’s end-of-season The Big Bang event on December 2, LEGO Fortnite was unveiled to the clamoring public. Now that the new game mode has formally launched, I’ve been able to jump into the survival crafting adventure ourselves, and it’s admittedly a very fun twist on traditional Fortnite action.
But, what platforms and/or devices can you play LEGO Fortnite on? As the game is now available for free through the Fortnite app, we can now definitively answer this question.

What platforms and devices will LEGO Fortnite be on?

LEGO Fortnite can be played on any platform and any device that Fortnite is available for. This is because the new game mode is playable entirely through the base game’s app, so it makes sense that any device or platform that can run Fortnite can also run LEGO Fortnite. But, this information was one of the only questions answered in the lead-up to launch, so it comes as no real surprise.

In that same vein, it would also seem that LEGO Fortnite is cross-platform, so if you’d like to continue building your blocky community on-the-go, you most certainly can! Just make sure you’re using the same Epic Games account across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and mobile devices.

It’d seem when the team told us that “You’ll be able to play the LEGO® Fortnite® game on all video game devices you can play Fortnite on,” they most certainly weren’t joking. In any case, it’s time to get back to upgrading your LEGO Fortnite world and building up your unique community!
