What is the best Keepsake in Elden Ring?

Objectively, the best Keepsake in Elden Ring is the Golden Seed. Right from the get-go, this will allow you to get another Sacred Flask, increasing your maximum heals or FP restoration. 

You can find way more Golden Seeds than you need to completely max out, but that extra one in the beginning will help you die a lot less as you progress through the game. It’ll also be useful if you’re trying to max out flasks when you get into Shadow of the Erdtree. 

If you’re more experienced in Soulslikes such as this, then the next best option is to pick the Stonesword Key. This will allow you to access the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave dungeon at the beginning of the game before even encountering the notorious Tree Sentinel.

If you do complete this dungeon, you’ll be rewarded with a Golden Seed. Just know that this area’s boss is going to be a lot tougher than many other things in the Limgrave area.
