Everything you need to know about Rustment 24/7

Rustment 24/7 is an upcoming (as of writing) playlist in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer mode. It’s a 6v6 Mosh Pit-style mode that mashes together two maps: Shipment and Rust. Hence, they decided to call it Rustment. Clever, ain’t it?

For those out of the loop (or those new to Call of Duty), a Mosh Pit (in this context) is a gameplay feature that randomizes game modes, and made its debut in the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. In this specific instance, the Mosh Pit randomizes four modes: Kill Confirmed, Domination, Hardpoint, and Team Deathmatch on the aforementioned two maps, Shipment and Rust.

Shipment debuted in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and will be making its triumphant return once the Rustment 24/7 mode goes live on November 30. Rust, on the other hand, debuted in the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and was one of the maps available from launch in the new Modern Warfare 3.

How to play Rustment 24/7

As of writing, the Rustment 24/7 mode is not available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. But, there is a countdown timer that seems to expire on November 30. As soon as the mode becomes available, players should be able to access it by selecting the multiplayer option from the menu, then scrolling over to the Rustment 24/7 option and selecting it.

So, if you’d like a taste of the good ol’ days, be sure to jump into Rustment 24/7 when it launches!
