Palworld releases on January 19 into Early Access. Itās an open-world survival crafting game similar to the Ark series, but with Pokemon instead of dinosaurs. Hereās what you need to know about how you can play it.
Initially, Palworld will launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S. In the launch FAQ, Pocket Pair states that there currently is no plans to release a PS5 version. Furthermore, at launch, there will be no crossplay between PC and Xbox platforms, though that is something that the team wishes to implement.
If youāre playing on PC, these are the system requirements as listed on the Steam store page:
Minimum
- OS: Windows 10 or later (64-Bit)
- Processor: i5-3570K 3.4 GHz 4 Core

Are there different versions of Palworld at launch?
At launch, it seems as if the Game Pass and Steam editions of the game are different. Keep this in mind, as the Game Pass version is an older build, with less quality of life features, and some potential multiplayer issues.
