How much is the Separate Ways DLC (and what platforms is it on)?

The Separate Ways DLC is a side story that deals with series frenemy Ada Wong, providing an extended look at the events of the game while providing some backstory on the greater Resident Evil universe.

It’s $9.99 as a piecemeal DLC purchase and is available for all RE4 remake platforms on September 21, 2023, including PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

How to start Separate Ways in the Resident Evil 4 remake

After you’ve purchased and downloaded the Separate Ways DLC, all you need to do is go to the main menu and select it.

It’s a completely different mode, and equipment will not carry over into the core game. You can, however, import costumes into Separate Ways, notably Leon Kennedy’s costumes. Outfits and accessories (like sunglasses) are fair game for Leon in this DLC.
