Niantic has given players time to collect Max Particles from Power Spots so that they can be ready to take part in Max Battles next week, and collected Dynamax Pokémon.

How to collect Max Particles from Power Spots in Pokémon Go

You can collect Max Particles from a Power Spot in Pokémon Go. These are new POI locations that you will see in Pokémon Go, similar to how Gyms and PokeStop are. Players can collect a maximum of 800 Max Particles per day.

To collect Max Particles from a Power Spot, find a Power Spot on the Pokémon Go map. Head to the location , and tap on the Power Spot to interact with it. You will see glowing purple orbs, tap on them and 120 Max Particles will be added to your collection. The first Power Spot of the day rewards you with 200 Max Particles. You can only interact with the same Power Spot once in a day, so you will have to find more Power Spots to collect more Max Particles.

Another way of collecting Max Particles is by walking 2 km per day, which is self-explanatory. However, if you wish to track progress of it, it is possible to do it by heading to the Pokémon radar located on the bottom right corner in Pokémon Go. A new tab for Power Spot has been added, which reveals nearby and active Power Spots, displays your current Max Particles, and it also displays a 2 km counter tracking how far you’ve walked today.

Players will receive 300 Max Particles for completing 2 km walk, but you must collect choose “Collect 300 Max Particles” from the Pokémon radar menu for Power Spots in order to claim them

Earn as much Max Particles as you can, as Dynamax Pokémon and Max Battles will be coming to Pokémon Go on September 10, 2024.
