Yeah, so I really played We Cheer 2 at Namco Bandai’s event yesterday. Listen, I’m about to move out of my parents’ house for the first time in my life and I need the money. So yeah, I forced myself to play this game.
In We Cheer 2, players will use the Wiimote to swing their arms around to match on-screen prompts. It’s Dance Dance Revolution for the arms, basically. Players can use one to two Wiimotes to perform cheerleader moves to over 30 licensed songs like Avril Lavigne’s “Girlfriend” song. Oh yeah, I wanted to shoot myself in the face when I heard that song for the billionth time in my life.
The game supports up to four players. It offers customizable characters and there will now be male cheerleader characters. The game will be out this Fall for $39.99. There’s a trailer for the game after the break, on the off chance that you actually want to see the game in action.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go play Gears of War 2 and watch porn at the same time to regain some of my manhood. Thank God for picture-in-picture TVs!
