Watch Mega Man Maverick Hunter X’s ‘The Day of Sigma’ OVA in HD

Back in 2005, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X hit the PSP with a pretty awesome OVA titled “The Day of Sigma.” The main problem is that it was previously only available on the UMD itself, with a 480×272 level of video quality — obviously not ideal.

YouTuber Silk Encoder has rescued the original however, and has patched it up to 1280×720. If you’ve never seen it before, it’s a quick 25 minute prequel romp that highlights how amazing it would have been for Capcom to continue the Maverick Hunter series on to X2 and beyond.
