Warframe 1999 romance guide

To romance one of the six members of the Hex in Warframe 1999, you must first complete the initial part of the quest. Once youā€™re able to travel around the Hollvania Mall and take on bounties, you can now begin courting one of them.

You can do so by playing bounties specifically with the character you want to romance. Think of it like hanging out, and eventually going out on a date, but with lots of battling.

Youā€™ll only have to do this a handful of times while also keeping up with each member of the Hex at the old-school computer in your Orbiter. There will be an instant messenger app similar to games like Emily is Away.

Complete the challenges, talk with the members of the Hex, and keep slowly progressing. Once you get to the next Syndicate rank, more dialogue options will open up, further progressing bonds.

Youā€™ll also be able to give gifts, which will also help increase those bonds. Theyā€™re all bought with Hollars, which you should gain in abundance by taking on multiple bounties.

Who should you romance in Warframe 1999?

This is something up to the playerā€™s choice. Picking your romantic partner, or at the least, your New Yearā€™s kiss, is a choice personal to you. If you need help deciding, hereā€™s a quick rundown of who each character is:

Arthur

Arthur is the leader of the team. Heā€™s got a cold outside personality and doesnā€™t show much emotion, but has a lot of heart. Arthur is the brooding type who keeps chatter short. If you like someone with a cold personality but is more than meets the eye, heā€™s the one.

Aoi

Sheā€™s Arthurā€™s best friend. Aoi is very laid back, giddy, and just very approachable. Sheā€™s got a bit of a temper but is still the most easygoing. Think of her as being the Yandere, if you’re familiar with the Japanese term.

Eleanor

Eleanor is probably the most popular pick because of her looks, but similar to her twin brother, Arthur, she too has a cold exterior. Sheā€™s more of a dandere, being very cynical because of her condition and mostly communicating psionically. Once you get past her defense mechanisms, sheā€™ll melt like butter.

Lettie

Lettie is the tsundere of the bunch, meaning she starts out harsh, but soon becomes a warmer personality. At first, sheā€™s a lot quicker to turn you down and hurt your feelings, but thereā€™s a soft spot you can unlock by strengthening your bond and being good with your words.

Amir

Amir is like a mix between a genki and a shota: very energetic, very talkative, playful, and easily approachable. He has little brother vibes and seems pure. Heā€™s the precious one of the bunch.

Quincy

Quincy is more of an oresama and a flirt. Heā€™s got the confidence, thinks highly of himself, but also gives you room to flirt back.

Can you romance people of the same sex?

Yes, you can romance any character you like. To not spoil anything in particular, the whole concept of gender isnā€™t really thrown around or mentioned. The dialogue is very gender-ambiguous.

Can you romance more than one character?

You can romance all members of the Hex if you choose to. However, when it comes to the big conclusion, you can only choose one character to have that special moment with.

Is there anything missable by not romancing the ā€œrightā€ person?

In typical Warframe fashion, your choices and the dialogue you experience will be spiritually different, but the conclusions we reach will all be the same.

You also technically have six chances to get one of the Hex members to like you enough to be their New Year’s kiss. Don’t mess it up! But also, there are safeguards so that if you choose unserious answers or deny conversation with anyone, you can still go through to the end.

If you want to see how the final moment happens with other characters, that might be a replayable option in the future or you may have to look up other peopleā€™s videos online.
