Warcraft Rumble: What is Moonglade and how do you unlock it?

It's the first post-launch zone

Warcraft Rumble does not do a good job of explaining a ton of its systems, including the world map! You may have noticed the inconspicuous Moonglade taking up space, but how do you unlock it? Well, it’s a post-launch content drop. Here are all the details we have at the moment.

Moonglade is a post-launch late-game unlock

While many games would offer a prompt or info box when tapping on the Moonglade zone, Warcraft Rumble leaves you completely in the dark. And we would be too, if Blizzard didn’t provide us more info during their “Rumblings Panel” at BlizzCon 2023.

The confirmation that Moonglade will arrive in the game post-launch comes at roughly 47:16 into the presentation. Moonglade will “come into the game as the final zone of the campaign…at least for now.”

Here’s everything we know about Moonglade in Warcraft Rumble

  • It’ll arrive after the Blackrock Mountain zone (which is said to drop in the “months to come” with no release date or window)
  • Moonglade has “five maps” that are in development – Brightwing, Druids (Claw and Talon), Brumeran, Ysera, and Cenarius
  • Normal and heroic versions are confirmed, just like other maps
  • The standard level range will be from 16-17 (heroic will be 26-27), indicating that it is a late-game zone

While we don’t have all the details, Moonglade will presumably unlock as the last zone in the campaign, following the currently-in-the-game Blackrock Mountain zone. It’ll also be the last stop to level up before you face off against Onyxia, who requires 100 sigils to unlock, and is in the level 30 range.
