Very rare PS1 game is up for sale

How much would you pay for a really terrible videogame? Not much? What if it was a really terrible basketball videogame? Possibly even less? What if it was a really terrible basketball videogame of which there are only three known copies in the world? Price just went up a bit, didn’t it?

NBA 2-Ball was a giveaway at the 1998 NBA All-Star game. It was just handed out to everyone, and it evidently sucked balls and ran on the reportedly god-awful NBA Jam Extreme engine. Therefore, most of the copies of the game weren’t saved, and it has become on of the rarest PS1 games around. Before the news below, only two copies were known of and one of them was broken in half.

Now, however, a New Jersey man has come forward with another copy in working order (as evidenced by the above video) after reading about it on Multiplayer Games. What do you do with one of the rarest games ever? Sell it and hope for profit, of course. And since he bought the game for five bucks, I think profit is going to be easy to come by, considering the auction he started for it has a minimum bid of $300.
