The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences puts on its annual D.I.C.E. Awards show every year as part of the summit it hosts in Las Vegas. The show has recognized some of the very best games of all time, with past winners including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Half-Life 2, and GoldenEye 007. Generally, the top prize goes to big, massive games with big, massive budgets. But this year, the voters went in a different direction, bestowing the top prize to the brilliant Untitled Goose Game

The House House-developed asshole goose simulator walked away with three awards last night, including Game of the Year, Independent Game of the Year, and Outstanding Achievement in Character for the goose.

Of course, those big, massive games with their big, massive budgets still cleaned up. Here is the full list of winners from the 23rd Annual D.I.C.E. Awards.
