I love making lists. It’s just one of the many weird quirks about me. So, logically, I thought that I should post my top 5 most anticipated Playstation 3 games that should be available to the public sometime before the turn of the century. (Get it? A joke about how PS3 has been delayed in Europe. Laugh, you conservative b@stards!) Without further ado, I present my top 5 anticipated PS3 games:5. Devil May Cry 4So what if the third one sucked a bit? Ok, well maybe a little bit more than a little bit. However, the fourth take at DMC centers around Nero, who looks prepped and ready to kick some huge demon ass. But seriously, how nasty does that picture look? If the graphics of the few photos and one trailer that we’ve been able to get our hands on are any indicator, DMC4 should be a welcomed take at demon slaying and a great addition to the series.Anticipation Factor: 7 big ass guns out of 10.4. Heavenly SwordDon’t be distracted TOO much by the nice crotch shot above. While it has been named to be somewhat of a Dynasty Warriors/99 Nights/any beat-em-up ever made clone, Nariko, the crimson-haired, curvy and busty heroine has already stolen my heart. And then she pulled a double back full and plunged her sword right into it. But seriously, those who have been fortunate enough to play Heavenly Sword have described the gameplay as fluid and indulging. Not to mention the double D honey that you get to control while beating the hell out of your cap-wearing adversaries.Anticipation Factor: 8 bouncing jubblies out of 10.3. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the PatriotsNow, I’m sure that this game is on everyone’s most anticipated list, whether you are a huge fan or not. Now I wouldn’t call myself MGS’s BIGGEST fan, but I do have a special place for Snake and the rest of the crew in my heart. I’m also sure that most, if not all, of you have checked out the trailer. The first time I saw it, I sat there all googley-eyed at my computer, my mouth dropping to the floor. It’s interesting how Konami is placing the fourth game in the series in a Middle Eastern-like setting, except far in the future. Many people are worried that since Snake has aged quite a bit since the last game, he won’t be able to pull the moves that he used to be able to. I can’t wait to play as an older, somewhat senile Snake. I mean if he does end up getting caught by the bad guys, all he has to do is fake a heart-attack or put on an old person voice and start bossing them around to get out of it.Anticipation Factor: 9 dirty, senile old man forehead wrinkles out of 10.2. Eight DaysProbably the most obscure game on my list, very little is known right now about Eight Days. We do know that it is published by Sony, either a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. The trailer, however, looks absolutely astounding. Concentrated around gun fights and drive-bys, Eight Days looks like it could one-up even the best action games out there. And yes, in case you are wondering, stuff blows up and it blows up (insert Pigma Dengar from Starfox 64 voice hear) “reeeeeeeeeeeeeeal good.”Anticipation Factor: 9.5 Pigma Dengar references out of 10.1. Resistance: Fall of ManOne of the most promising looking games on the PS3, RFoM was created by Insomniac and is a major step forward, in my opinion, in the shooter game category. Here’s why: Everyone loves shooters with aliens in them. Point in case, Halo. Best selling game on Xbox and will probably be the best seller on Xbox 360 when Halo 3 is released. Also, everyone loves wartime shooters. Point in case, every single Call of Duty/Medal of Honor/Brother In Arms shooter game ever known to mankind. There’s just something special about killing Nazis, North Koreans, and even the French that gets our blood boiling. Resistance: Fall of Man has both! One part Medal of Honor, one part Halo, the boys over at Insomniac have put together the winningest combination ever seen in video game history. They’re pretty much cross-breeding Mario and Sonic, coming out with a big winner, something like Marionic (sounds a little bit like “moronic,” doesn’t it?). Anyway, killing Nazis and aliens on the same level should be an absolute blast.Anticipation Factor: 10 cross-embryonic in vitro videogame fertilizations out of 10.Anyway, what are your top 5 most anticipated PS3 games?

Well, let's see. I've been here since the first day (found it the day it launched via Gmask) and fell in love. I've been an editor for a few months now and I couldn't be happier with the site (that is, unless they sent me a free Wii to review games on *hint hint*).
