Did you know you can purchase the entire Metro trilogy of games for less than $7 on Steam? Well, today is the last day you can do it. There are less than 24 hours to save about 90% on three of the best niche post-apocalyptic games to grace the last 14 years.

The entire Metro saga is on sale to celebrate the release of Metro Awakening, which launched for VR devices on November 7. But if you’re not really a VR player and still fancy a tour through an apocalyptic wasteland, now’s a good time to consider grabbing the games that came before it — if you don’t already own them. Personally, playing VR games makes me feel a bit queasy after a while. I’m fine fighting mutant bats as my air supply slowly dwindles, but I’m happier doing it without the added nausea.

Metro Saga Steam sale includes three games, DLC, all for 90% off

The Metro Saga Bundle includes the trilogy of games along with DLC. The first game on the list is 2014’s Metro 2033 Redux, a remaster of the 2010 original. It’s paired with the direct sequel Metro Last Light Redux, which again remasters the base game while including 10 extra hours of gameplay via its DLC. Finally, we have Metro Exodus Gold Edition, upgrading the base game with ray tracing features and including the DLC episodes Sam’s Story and The Two Colonels. For those wondering, the whole shebang comes in at roughly 45 hours if you ignore the extra stuff. It’s a lot of game for less than a tenner.

The sale may have flown under the radar for some folks, especially since there’s another game set in a post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe that’s coming in hot. STALKER 2 is just around the corner, launching on November 20. But if you’re looking to explore some hellish badlands on the cheap, or if you’re worried about your PC catching on fire, the Metro Saga Bundle is a good alternative. The games are fantastic, and you may enjoy them more by knowing you didn’t need to break the bank.
