Throne and Liberty: How to use Easy Face Maker

It's like the Mii Maker, but not.

Throne and Liberty has a cool custom character customization feature where you can use a photo as a reference for the game to replicate called Easy Face Maker. It does require some external devices to get started, so hereā€™s what you need to know.

How to use the Easy Face Maker in Throne and Liberty

To use the Easy Face Maker in Throne and Liberty, you simply need to select the option in the customization menu. Words will come up telling you about what the game plans to do with the photos uploaded to create a character. Donā€™t worry, they wonā€™t store or use your photos for anything other than creating something similar to them.

A QR code will pop up on your screen, prompting you to take a photo of that. You can either use your smartphone to scan the code or use a screenshot and a QR image reader on your PC.

When scanned, this should lead you to a website associated with Throne and Liberty. You can select an image to upload here. Use either one already in your library or take a new one with your camera. For this example, I used a portrait of Joe Biden.

Make sure your game is still on. Once your photo is uploaded, select ā€œApplyā€. Itā€™ll take a few moments for the game to recreate the face on the photo to the best of its ability.

Itā€™s decent for what came out of it, but it isnā€™t as accurate as we had hoped. Youā€™ll still most likely go into the editor and do some manual customization to get it as close as possible.

You can try and play around with other photos of people or yourself. Though, the best results will come from high-definition photos that mostly show the face. Donā€™t take a full-body shot; opt for a headshot or a cropped portrait.
