Where to find Rare Enchanted Ink in Throne and Liberty

Throne and Liberty: How to get Rare Enchanted Ink

So this is kind of a tricky answer...

In Throne and Liberty, the process of crafting and upgrading gear is a bit tricky compared to most other MMORPGs. By default, you need to use Enchanted Ink to craft green uncommon quality gear, which can be bought from the shop. However, with the Western launch it’s not apparent how to get Rare Enchanted Ink to use in crafting blue rare quality gear in Throne and Liberty, but here is how it works.

How to get Rare Enchanted Ink

In the KR version of Throne and Liberty, Rare Enchanted Ink has been removed from the game, and it looks like that change has made it into the Western release as well. Despite the in-game text still referring the the Rare (blue quality) Enchanted Ink, there is no way to actually obtain it in-game. However, there is still a way to craft your blue-quality gear.

Instead of using the Rare Enchanted Ink, you’ll have to use Rare Lithographs. The easiest way to get Rare Lithographs is to open up your Lithograph Book and look at the green button at the bottom. Click on this button and you will see that you can turn in your crafted Uncommon (green quality) gear using the standard green Enchanted Ink, and receive a Blue Lithograph in return.

How to make Rare Lithographs using standard Enchanted Ink

You can acquire standard Enchanted Ink via the Contract Coin Merchant—up to 50 per week—or the in-game Premium Shop. Use these Enchanted Inks to craft Uncommon Gear, and then use your Lithograph Book to turn in four of the crafted pieces of gear at a time to receive a Blue Lithograph in return. This will allow you to still craft rare blue quality gear without needing the currently non-existent Rare Enchanted Ink.

Even though the Rare Enchanted Ink does not exist in other regions either, it is possible this new client version of Throne and Liberty is intended to have it. However, we can confirm that at the time of full launch on October 1, Rare Enchanted Ink simply does not exist in Throne and Liberty.
