Throne and Liberty: How to get Manasteel

Get your pickaxe ready!

Whether you are in the late game or just starting your journey in Throne and Liberty, very few materials will be as vital as Manasteel, whose variants must be used to craft all of its physical weapons and much, much more.

True to that, it’s not a surprise that getting the material, especially in its higher tiers, will demand a lot. To help you boost your arsenal and make sure you have the best possible gear no matter your build of choice, here’s how to get all types of Manasteel in Throne and Liberty and the best way to farm each material.

How to get and the best way to farm Manasteel in Throne and Liberty

You can get regular Manasteel in Throne and Liberty by mining Moonstones across all areas of Solisium, as well as by opening chests, dissolving Quality Manasteel, and sending your Amitoi in expeditions. If you are looking to farm the material early in your adventure, head to Windhill Shores, as you can find a wide array of Moonstone veins there.

As shown below, once you spot a vein, you will be able to mine it by simply interacting with it. There’s no guarantee all veins in the area will feature Manasteel, but the ones that do will reward you with good chunks of between five and ten units.

How to get and the best way to farm Quality Manasteel

You can get Quality Manasteel in Throne and Liberty by opening chests, mining Moonstone veins in all areas above level 20, as Lytograph Collection and Amitoi Expedition rewards, as well as by crafting the material in exchange for 5x Manasteel. It is also possible to get it by dissolving Rare Manasteel and defeating set enemies.

If you are looking to farm the material and don’t want to open the tens of Quality Base Material Selection Chests you will receive while completing the main story and leveling up, gathering a large sum of Manasteel and then crafting it will be your best bet. To do that, I recommend staying on Urstella Fields, as the area will feature multiple veins and an almost infinite amount of Goblin Fighters, which can drop the material.

When in the mid-game, change your farming spot to Stonehard’s Daybreak Shore (Lv 38-40), as the veins there will commonly reward you with both regular and Quality Manasteel, among other materials. Although I cannot pinpoint the minimal level needed to mine and gather the resources in the area, I was able to do so without an issue during my first visit while at level 29.

How to get and the best way to farm Rare Manasteel in Throne and Liberty

You can get Rare Manasteel in Throne and Liberty by crafting it in exchange for 5x Quality ones, as well as by opening chests, defeating set enemies (low drop rate), as Lytograph Collection rewards, and by mining regular and Gigantic Moonstone veins ā€”this time in level 40 or above areas. Even if unadvised, it is also possible to get it by dissolving Precious Manasteel.

Given that, the best way to farm the material before reaching level 40 can be done by mining large amounts of regular and Quality Manasteel at Daybreak Shore and then using it to craft the rare variant. You can check out the area’s location below.

If you are in a Guild above level 10, you will also be able to get up to ten Rare and ten Precious Manasteel units daily by heading to the Guild Merchant and then purchasing all Rare and Precious Base Material Selection Chests in stock.

How to get and the best way to farm Precious Manasteel

The only tier of the material that cannot be mined, you can get Precious Manasteel in Throne and Liberty by opening chests, defeating set enemies at the game’s level 50 areas, crafting it in exchange for 5x Rare Manasteel, purchasing it from the Guild Merchant, and as Lytograph Collection rewards.

Apart from purchasing it, crafting is once again your best bet if you wish to farm. To do that, I recommend heading to Shattered Temple and mining there for Rare Manasteel, as the area features one of the highest concentrations of possible Moonstone spawn spots. If you don’t want to dive into an endgame area and don’t mind the loss in drop chance, both The Raging Wilds and Manawastes areas can also boast plenty of veins.
