This clever MW3 trick lets you get free cosmetic items you may have missed

Nothing better than free.

There’s nothing better than free stuff, and with Modern Warfare 3, there are free bundles that drop every season for you to enjoy. If you’ve not been playing the game, however, you have missed out on some of them. Don’t worry, though, as there is a trick to help you get them.

After a certain time period, they will become hidden from the in-game store, which may make you think that’s you’ve missed the boat entirely and can’t get them anymore. In a post on Reddit, however, user CheekiPosts reminded players that if you go to the Charms, Decals, or Stickers section of your loadout, you can still grab the bundles from there.

When you go to the the section, such as Charms, it will show all the free items in that category, even if you don’t have it yet. Once you click on it, you’ll be able to see and unlock the bundle, even if it’s not in the store.

This is a very useful trick that many people may know, but personally, I didn’t know this was a thing. I lived under the assumption that if I hadn’t played in a while and didn’t unlock the bundle when it was in the store, it was just “too bad” and you move on. I went and tried this out though and added two new bundles to my inventory though, so I’m thankful to have seen this helpful hint.

This doesn’t apply to bundles that you purchase with CoD Points or real money in-game though, as once they are out of the store, all you can do is hope that Activision bring them back in the future.
