Whilst browsing Pixel Girl Shop I discovered these retro bits of art….I keep trying to decide whether I think they’re rad or something I might buy for a quarter at a garage sale. Of course, garage sales have that strange magnetic attraction that make you buy things that you’ll never really need or want, but because they’re ten cents, you momentarily think you cannot live them. This explains the existance of ice cream makers, taffeta dresses with puffed sleeves and Lionel Ritchie albums. If you don’t have at least one of the three in a bag in the garage, you can be sure you aren’t a real human being and merely a replicant.
At any rate, for the right bathroom or breakfast nook (nook is such an awesomely gay word), this could add the perfect touch of kitsch. If Ninty isn’t your thing, see below for nods to Atari and computer dorkery.
