The Ghost of Deals Present

It’s finally Christmas here in the United States; a country known for big ol’ prisons and giving video game consoles as Christmas gifts. Unless something drastic has changed in the past year, the post-dinner console unboxing remains an immutable part of American culture. You slowly pull the remote out of your sleeping uncle’s moist hand, switch off the football game nobody’s watching, plug in your shiny new PS4 (and wait for the updates to install), pop in that copy of Star Wars Battlefront (and wait for the game to install), and see for yourself what the new generation of consoles has to offer.

And if you like what you see, Sony is more than happy to feed your new box with what I assume is the last PSN Flash Sale of 2015. There’s a lot of great PS4 games on sale, like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate for $40.19, Diablo III Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition for $29.40, GTA V for $35.99, The Witcher 3 for $25 even, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist for $14.99.

If you’re looking to stretch the lifecycle of your PS3, or if you found the PS Vita you boxed way back in May, there’s something for you too! Transformers: Devastation for PS3 and PS4 is on sale for $24.50, and Hotline Miami 2 with “3-way Cross-buy” is on sale for $7.50. Plenty of films are on sale as well, but I do not know a soul who buys movies digitally on their PlayStation. Still, you could do worse than Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation for $9.99.

You can peruse the full list here, or jump directly to the store and start spending if any of the aforementioned deals sounded compelling. The sale ends on December 28, so feel free to wait if you’re hoping for a Boxing Day PSN card.
