As are Mario Sports Superstars amiibo cards
While the Pikachu Yellow Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL was widely available outside of the US, this past year, Nintendo has announced that they’re going to be bringing it to the US very soon. It’ll hit shelves on February 24 for $199.99. Right now the only way to get a US compatible unit is to pay roughly $300 for a South Asia piece of hardware. As long as Nintendo makes more than five of them, you should be okay come February.
In other news, Nintendo reminds us that Mario Sports Superstars is a thing for the 3DS, and when it arrives on March 24, it’ll bring amiibo cards with it. You’ll be able to tap said cards to gain access to “fun bonuses” in-game, and they’ll of course be available in blind packs, which ensures that I will never buy them. They’ll be sold for $5 for a pack of five.
The 3DS is still very much alive, with Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World on the way, in addition to Tank Troopers, Pikmin 3DS, several Fire Emblem games, and many more.
