There are 16 categories for The Horror Game Awards 2024

On December 14 at 20:00 GMT, the Horror Game Awards will be streamed live on YouTube to help us appreciate “the most terrifying gaming experiences in the past 12 months,” says the press release. However, the trophy probably isn’t something that Geoff Keighley would approve for his show, The Game Awards. It will be a claw that has bloody embellishments on it instead of a traditional statue. It’s quite fitting.

The 16 categories for this year’s Horror Game Awards include:

For the year 2024, it seems likely that Crow Country, Alone in the Dark, and Still Wakes the Deep might be in the running. There’s also the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake.

Nevertheless, no nominees have been announced yet, but we do know who some of the presenters will be. The Horror Game Awards has confirmed the current voice of Leon Kennedy, Nick Apostolides, will be a presenter during the show. Additionally, Dead Space creator Glen Schofield, original Clock Tower director Hifumi Kōno, Signalis co-composer Cicada Sirens, and more will be presenting during the show.

Content creators and horror streamers, including AnEternalEnigma, Ash Millman, LaynaLazar, SuperHorrorBro, 8-BitRyan, and Gh0stArcade will be giving out awards too.
