Geoff Keighley has been producing video game awards shows for a while now, but it was only last year that he just put the entire thing together himself. In Las Vegas during PlayStation Experience last December, the inaugural The Game Awards took place. In less than a month’s time, round two will go down.

Keighley and Company revealed today that the second annual The Game Awards are scheduled for Thursday, December 3 at 6pm Pacific in Los Angeles. As always, the show will be part awards, part reveals, part celebrities, and part musical performances. There will probably be some corporate-paid advertising in there too.

As we’ve come to expect, the whole thing will be streaming online for the entire world to watch. There are perks to tuning in, as Keighley says “We plan to put fans at the center of the show — and give them special opportunities to interact with us by using their gaming consoles, mobile devices and computers.” Game discounts through various platforms will be offered on the stream.

If you want to see all the pomp and circumstance first-hand, tickets will be sold on November 12. There’s no word on the price of tickets or where in Los Angeles the event will happen. All we know is that anyone who checks it out — either in-person or streaming — will get to look back at 2015 in gaming and get a small glimpse at what the future holds.
