The First Descendant: Best Sharen build and loadout

A more stealthy approach.

Sharen has become one of the top Descendants in The First Descendant because of her invisibility build. If you want to utilize this for farming reasons or just to main her, hereā€™s what you need to know.

  • Sub Module: Preference

While most builds may utilize her Battlesuit Melting Rounds mod, this will use Overcharged Edge instead. This will be a general build emphasizing her Active Camouflage ability.Ā

With Overcharged Edge, itā€™ll consume your shields instead of MP, allowing you to use your other abilities without her invisibility taking up all the energy. That way, you can use her Active Camouflage to cheese side objectives like the Strategic Outposts that spawn every few minutes.

You can trivialize these missions by popping your invisibility, hacking the power units, and increasing your chances of getting the Successful Infiltration rewards. Playing in public groups will make your teammates love you more.

While Sharen can be played as a stealth farming Descendant, her other abilities are really strong in crowd controlling and even taking out mobs.Ā

Her bossing and Elite killing abilities are also very strong thanks to the Ambush damage increase upon exiting. You may want to use a sniper or shotgun to really maximize damage as itā€™ll only give you the boost on the first attack out of invisibility.Ā

Best loadout for Sharen in The First Descendant

With the mod setup done, now itā€™s time for your equipment. This will include your Reactor, External Components, and weapons.

So first, with the Reactor. The best Reactor for Sharen will be the Tingling Mixture Reactor. Itā€™ll boost power to her Electric and Fusion skills. While only two of her abilities actually do damage, youā€™re going to want to focus more on the bottom two stats. Look for the following:

  • Skill Cooldown
  • Skill Cost

If you can also get this Reactor with a corresponding Ultimate Weapon that you are wielding, preferably the Thunder Cage, itā€™ll become even more potent. This will allow you to use your abilities a bit more often while being economical regarding energy and even your shields.Ā

As for External Components, get the whole Supernova or Bravery set. Starting with Supernova, the whole set will give you more power to your electric skills, fusion skills, and a special Thunderbolt attack that will deal massive damage to enemies inflicted with Electrocution. This is more for mobbing and general ability use.

The Bravery set is going to be more of a defensive set to use. Itā€™ll increase your HP recovery and increase your shields with two pieces. With the full set, youā€™re going to have higher skill duration and random skills being cooled down faster if you kill stunned enemies.Ā

Weapon choices will depend on what your playstyle is. However, by using an Ultimate Rarity Reactor, you do need a weapon that fits the slot to get the maximum power benefit from it.
