The First Descendant: Best Bunny build and loadout

Are you ready to be shocked?

If you’re looking to move fast in The First Descendant, then Bunny is your girl. All of her abilities are centered around dealing damage around herself while zooming across the battlefield, picking off targets before they can do too much damage to her. She’s quite strong on her own, but outfitting her with the right build and loadout can make all the difference. Here’s the best Bunny build and loadout in The First Descendant.

Bunny’s greatest strengths lie in her movement speed, skill damage, and AoE potential. She can be a monster for those willing to get up close with her targets, though she’s a bit of a glass cannon. Position poorly for a little too long, and you can be the welcome recipient of a hail of gunfire. Her abilities also drain her energy quickly, leaving her exposed if you aren’t careful with how you engage. Given all of this, it’s best that you build Bunny for electricity damage (due to the nature of her abilities), skill duration/length, and MP. Any of the following mods are excellent on her:

  • Electrical Transition
  • Electric Condense
  • Enlightenment
  • Strong Mentality
  • Skill Extension
  • Skill Expansion
  • MP Collector

Slapping any of these onto Bunny depending on your current Module Capacity and leveling the Modules up can provide a huge boost to her potential. If you’re struggling to stay up, you can add in an Increased HP or Increased Shield Module to help a touch.

Moving over to the Reactor, this is a pretty easy choice as the Tingling Mixture Reactor is easily the best on her, providing Bunny with an Electric Skill Power Boost Ratio among other welcome improvements. If you don’t have that yet, then running anything with Tingling on it can work wonders. As with other builds, the External Components should just be the best you have rather than any helping Bunny specifically.

Finally, we come to weapons. Equipping the Thunder Cage Submachine Gun you get early in the main questline is a must. This weapon’s special ability makes it emit an electric shockwave that damages both that enemy and anyone nearby. Since we’re building for Electric damage here, it’ll benefit from those boosts. As for the remaining weapons, you can ultimately use whatever you want but due to the close-range playstyle of Bunny, Handguns, Shotguns, and Launchers are uniquely suited to her. Why bring a Sniper Rifle if you’re in the middle of a big group, right?
