It’s now being held in late January 2022
So we recently got word of the FFXIV Endwalker delay that would push the game out a few weeks. Hey, it could have been worse! But now that the delay is out there, Square Enix is posting an update that provides players with a little more context around the other MMO-heavy happenings with the game, including All Saints’ Wake. After all, a delay isn’t just for a single SKU with live service games: it can push everything back a bit until there’s a new schedule.
Here’s the full statement on the FFXIV Endwalker delay and the All Saints’ Wake event:
“With the postponement of the release of Endwalker, the All Saints’ Wake seasonal event is scheduled to be held around late January 2022. The Starlight Celebration and Heavensturn are scheduled to be held during their usual timing, and further details regarding each event will be announced later.”
Square Enix also gave us a few extra things to consider. One, if you’re pre-ordering directly through a retailer for a physical copy, you probably want to contact them and double-check that it’s still coming on the delayed date. They also warn players that the Adventure Jump Start sale is not extended as a result of this, and will end on November 19 at 12AM PT. Finally, the Moogle Treasure Trove event is still going to happen through 6.0, which will kick off in the early access period of Endwalker on December 3 (which is basically the launch of Endwalker proper).
Got it?!
