The EA Sports Complex is now available inside PlayStation Home. It’s a space where you and your buddies can kick back and virtually relax while being exposed to all sorts of absolutely wonderful EA Sports content like trailers and videos for upcoming and already available games.

Oh — you can also play Texas Hold ‘Em Poker in there. Yep, the sports complex has debuted with a “tournament-style” poker game (with updates like bracelets and leaderboards coming in the future.) Poker sounds funny, sure, but Wikipedia has assured us that it is a sport. Plus, we have our own evidence. Dudes sweat before the blind. So take that, poker-isn’t-a-sport crowd.

You could also play some kind of mini-race car game called EA Sports Racing. It sounds thrilling. Almost as thrilling as the upcoming golf game (EA Sports Golf) that will added to the space “soon.”

Anyway, you can view some screens of the EA’s new space in the gallery below. You could also turn on your PlayStation 3 and check it out for yourself. If you’re too lazy, or don’t feel like waiting four years to go through the updates you’ve missed, feel free to read the beautifully word press release after the break. It paints a lovely picture. (Not really.)
